Last
week, Alex Jones made the announcement that David Knight was fired from
Infowars. This shouldn't come as a big surprise to long time observers.
In fact, I'm surprised that Knight lasted with as long as he did. When
David signed on to become a host, he and Jones appeared to have a
similar goal in mind. Both were presented as independent, liberty
oriented people who didn't trust either major party. Only one of them
has stuck to those ideals during that time.
For
whatever reason, Jones made the decision to go all in with Donald Trump
back in 2015. In doing so, he has guided millions of independent, truth
seekers back to the two party plantation. Occasionally, Jones has
feigned outrage over something Trump has done, only to walk it back
within the next few days. However, it's obvious that he has sold out his
ideals. How much money he may have gotten to sell out would be the
question. Some people will even say that Jones sold out long before
throwing his support behind Trump.
Liberty
minded, truth seeking individuals have basically used the internet to
find voices that buck the mainstream narrative. Following the death of
Bill Cooper, Jones and his Infowars platform grew by leaps and bounds.
There have been other voices breaking big stories, but Infowars has
always grabbed a hold of those stories and presented them in such a way
as to make people think they were the ones who broke the news. In doing
so, nobody else in the truth movement has managed to gain a significant
audience.
When Jones joined forces with Trump
and the Republican party, it was like a dagger to the heart of the truth
movement. The one bright spot in all of that was David Knight. David
always delivered a well researched report in a calm manner. Unlike other
hosts on the Infowars platform, he wasn't speaking in a scary, panicked
manner. He was delivering you the facts and presenting his conclusions
calmly and rationally. This makes David one of the best liberty minded
hosts since Bill Cooper.
Infowars is no longer
the platform for the little guy. It's no longer the voice for the truth
movement, and it hasn't been for quite some time. It is a mini
corporation unto itself. You could even call it Truth Incorporated.
However, as any rational thinking person would tell you, you can't
listen to anybody and believe what they say 100%. As Cooper and no doubt
Knight would advise, don't take anybody's word on anything until you
can research it and come to your own informed conclusion. David Knight
will continue to do his show independently. You can follow David on His Twitter Page.
